On Sunday 1 June 2025, the Acropolis North Slope, which had been closed for the last few years, was once again open to the public. The restored route of the ancient path of Peripatos, at the foot of the Acropolis Hill, allows visitors to enjoy a stroll through nature and to get to know important monuments such as the Source of Klepsydra, the last part of the Panathenaic Street, the Sacred Caves, the Sanctuary of Aphrodite and Eros and St. Nicholas’ church.
The Ephorate of Antiquities of the City of Athens informs the visitors that the Acropolis elevator for people with disabilities will not be in operation.Thank you for your understanding.
