In this context, the security systems (cameras and closed-circuit monitoring) were upgraded and expanded in all archaeological sites, museums and archaeological warehouses, while a new lighting network was installed on the northern border of the archaeological site of the Ancient Agora (along Hadrianou Street and in the Doerpfeld excavation area) and in Pnyka.



In addition, the fences of the archaeological sites were strengthened, specifically to the N and NE of Herodeion, on Teorias Street in Anafiotika, the Acropolis, the Areio Pagos, the Observatory and the Mendrese, while repairs and door replacements were carried out in museums, archaeological sites and monuments ( Kanellopoulos Museum, Agios Filippou St., Agios Eliseos St., Kerameikos, Irodio).
