The preservation of frescoes in the Holy Temples and the Byzantine monuments under the jurisdiction of the EF.A.Ath., such as in the temple of Kapnikarea, in Ag. Apostolous Solakis in the Ancient Agora, in I.N. St. John the Theologian in Papagou (completed in 2016), in Ag. Dimitrios in Maroussi, in the Franciscan monastery of Kaisariani (completed in 2017), in Ag. Georgios \u2013 Omorfoklisia (completed in 2017) etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, among the portable icons that were preserved, is the fragmented large-sized marble icon of the Dormition of the Virgin, which was re-placed on the rock in the monument of Thrasyllos on the S. Slope of the Acropolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
